Garlic in Miso

Ingredients Metric US
fresh garlic 225 g 8 oz
miso 225 g 8 oz
mirin (sweet rice wine) 15 ml 1 Tbsp
  1. Peel off garlic cloves.
  2. Mix miso with wine to make a paste.
  3. Place some of the miso mixtrue in a jar, then add garlic.
  4. Cover garlic with a new layer of miso.
  5. Repeat the procedure until all garlic cloves are covered with miso.
  6. Close the jar and refrigerate.
