Scalloped Oysters

Scalloped oysters.
  • 1 pint oysters
  • 2 cups cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup milk
  1. Drain oysters.
  2. Combine cracker crumbs, salt, pepper and butter; sprinkle 1/3 in a buttered casserole, cover with a layer of oysters.
  3. Repeat layer.
  4. Add Worcestershire sauce to milk and pour over contents of dish.
  5. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
  6. Bake in moderate oven at 350° F for 30 minutes or until brown.
