Oyster Cocktail

Oyster cocktail.
  • 1-1/2 pints oysters
  • Lettuce
  • Lemon wedges
  • Cocktail Sauce:

    • 1 cup ketchup
    • 2 Tablespoon vinegar
    • 1 Tablespoon horseradish
    • 1 Tablespoon chopped celery
    • 1 Tablespoon chopped onion
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    • Few drops Tabasco sauce
    • Blend all ingredients and chill.
  1. Drain and dry oysters.
  2. Allow six oysters for each serving and arrange in lettuce cups on individual salad plates.
  3. In the center of each plate, place a small container of cocktail sauce.
  4. Garnish with lemon.
