Baked Oysters on the Half Shell

Baked oysters on the half shell
  • 36 shell oysters
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons onion, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  1. Shuck and drain oysters; place on deep half of shells.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and onion.
  3. Dot with butter.
  4. Place oysters in baking pan and bake in hot oven at 400° F for 10 minutes or until edges begin to curl.
Serves 6.
