Tuna A La King

Tuna a la King.
Ingredients
  • 2 cans (6-1/2 or 7 ounces each) tuna
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup butter or other fat, melted
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup chopped pimiento
  • Corn bread, biscuits, or toast
Instructions
  1. Drain tuna.
  2. Break into large pieces.
  3. Cook green pepper in butter until tender.
  4. Blend in flour, salt and pepper.
  5. Add milk gradually and cook until thick, stirring constantly.
  6. Add pimiento and tuna; heat.
  7. Serve on corn bread, biscuits, or toast.
