Fried Mackerel

  • mackerel fillets, 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • 1 egg
  • 4 Tbsp oil
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  1. Sprinkle fillets with salt and pepper.
  2. Dip in egg, then roll on both sides in flour.
  3. Fry on both sides until golden.
  4. Spread butter on top of each fillet and serve with fried potatoes or a roll.
