Kosher Beef Sausage with Flour
Kosher beef sausage made without pork or pork casings.
|Beef, lean||700 g||1.54 lb|
|Beef fat (suet)||200 g||0.44 lb|
|Potato flour||100 g||0.22 lb|
Ingredients per 1000g (1 kg) of meat
|Onion||30 g||1/2 onion|
|Salt||18 g||3 tsp|
|Pepper||2.0 g||1 tsp|
|Water||200 ml||6.6 fl oz|
- Cut beef into small pieces.
- Cut up onion.
- Combine flour with salt and spices, add water and mix together. Add meat and fat and mix again.
- Grind the sausage mass with 1/8” (3 mm) plate.
- Stuff into beef or synthetic casings.
- Place in refrigerator.
- Cook before serving.
