Broiled Oysters on the Half Shell

Broiled oysters on the half shell.
Ingredients
  • 36 shell oysters
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
  1. Shuck and drain oysters; place on deep half of shells.
  2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and buttered bread crumbs.
  3. Place on preheated broiler pan about 3 inches from heat and broil for 5 minutes or until brown.
Notes
Serves 6.
